She raised me on her own, juggling multiple jobs just to make ends meet. We moved from one rental to another, never staying in one place for long because money was always tight. Despite everything, she gave me the best childhood she could, sacrificing her own comfort to make sure I had what I needed.<br class=\"html-br\" \/><br class=\"html-br\" \/>When I got older, I promised myself I would repay her one day. I worked hard, went to college, built a career, and saved every spare dollar. And this year, after so many years of dreaming, I was finally able to make it happen.<br class=\"html-br\" \/><br class=\"html-br\" \/>On Christmas morning, I handed her a small box. Inside was a key and a note that read: \u201cFor the first time in your life, you don\u2019t have to move again. This is your home.\u201d She looked at me, confused at first, and then realized what it meant. Tears streamed down her face, and she hugged me so tightly I could barely breathe.<br class=\"html-br\" \/><br class=\"html-br\" \/>Seeing her walk through the house, touching the walls and the windows, knowing it was finally hers \u2014 I\u2019ll never forget that moment. For the first time, she has a place that\u2019s truly hers, where she can feel safe and at peace.
